a. Roughly rake or screedtheareatotoensurethesoilislevelandtoremoveanyrocksorlumpsofsoil.

b. Evenly spread base works acrosstheentirearea,toapproximately15-20mmbelowedginglines.Thiscanbeeithercrushedrockforaclaybase,orbeddingsand.BothareavailablefromAustralianLawnWholesalers.

c. Leveland screedtheareatoensuretherearenodipsinthebaseworksyouhavejustspread,otherwiseyourlawnwillhavedipsaswell.

f. Hand pack the edgingforadditionalsupportandstrength.

g. Repeat compacting toensuretheareawillsettleproperlyinordertolaythelawn.

a. Defibrillate your new lawninordertoraisethepileorlawnblades.ThiscanbedonewitheitherastiffgardenbroomoryoucanhireadefibrillationmachinefromAustralianLawnWholesalersoryourlocalhirecompanytoensurethelawnpileisraisedandconsistentthroughouttheentirearea.Thisiscriticaltomakingyourlawnlookperfectlymanicured.

a. Spreadapproximately7-9kg/m2offinesandand2kg/m2ofrecycledgranulatedrubberevenlyacrosstheentirelawn(ThiscanbepurchasedfromAustralianLawnWholesalers).

b. Brush this aroundwithastiffgardenbroomoryourdefibrillatortoensureithasbeenevenlylaid.

Thisprocessensuresthelawnkeepsitsstaminaandenablesthegrassbladestotolerateheavytrafficwhileremaininglushandsoftunderfoot.Theinfillwillalsonaturallyspreadwithweatherandtraffic.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR LAWNOurrangeofsyntheticlawnrequiresverylittletonomaintenancewhatsoever.Shouldyouchoose,youmaydothefollowing:

a. Rake your lawnusingalightweightplasticfanstylerake,astrongbristledbroomorevenanelectricblowertoremoveanyleavesordebris,ifnecessary.

b. Squirt with a garden hoseoccassionallytokeepthelawnbristleslookingclean(dependingonwaterrestrictions).

c. Our synthetic lawn can handle rough playbychildren.However,ifroughplaydoesdisturbtheinfill,itiseasytorestorebybrushingthelawnwithastiffbristledyardbroom.Therubberinfillalsoactsaspadding.

d. As for pets,oursyntheticlawnwillnotbeaffectedorfadefromharshurineacidfrompets.Justhoseofftheurineandpickupafteryourpetsasyounormallywould.

Treat weeds or sour sobs or alike that can occasionally make their way to the surface with your average herbicide (ie round up) this will not damage your lawn in any way.
