DESCRIPTION

E-Sync is a great Disaster Recovery (DR) tool for doing syncs of two folders (or entire Volumes) from two Enjay StorVol devices, located on a LAN or WAN. It operates at the file level, but uses a neat algorithm that detects only the changed parts of files and only sends those changes to the other side. ● E-Sync modules at each branch

● Static IP address at each location or port forwarding also can do the trick (Port 80 and 7887 needs to be forwarded in this case)

Required Bandwidth

● This transfer may take almost all your 1 MBPS of bandwidth, so you should schedule it at low bandwidth usage time or during night time.

● For the first initial 30 GB backup, you can do it by copying all 30 GB to some portable drive and send to other branch. So it will not take your internet bandwidth for this.

Total Data in each branch 30 GB

Daily Data modification 500 MB

Internet bancdwidth 1MBPS

Delhi NAS 500 MB send to back up to mumbai + 500 MB receive back up from kolkata

Approx Time at 1MBPS Around 120-130 minutes

Compressed Data Actual time will be lesser

Benefits of Solution

● You can recover all the important data from other nas device if one device fails or any disaster occur.
