Directors’ Corner…
Welcome to June! When it is toasty outside in Texas, we know that June has arrived! For us here at Two Creeks, the timing is great, since we will be starting Splash Days on June 10th. This is our favorite way to beat the heat, and to help them run as smoothly as possible, we ask for each child to bring all items listed on the back page of this newsletter and to make sure they are labeled. This helps ensure that each item is returned to the correct child at the end of water play. We do want to highlight the importance of sending children in safe water shoes for their time on the Splash Pad. While we know that it can be most convenient to send children in flip-flops, we re-quire that children come in water shoes that have a rubber sole as well as a supportive back. Since children do have to travel from their classrooms to the Splash Pad, as well as on the border of concrete that surrounds the Splash Pad, we want to offer them as much protection as possible. Please also remember that all children that are not potty trained are required to bring swim diapers for their time in the water. Splash Days are some of our favorites around here and we are so grateful for each of you helping to make them a suc-cess!
Mark your calendars now for our Meet the Teacher, sched-uled for August 23rd from 4-6 p.m. While we will be CLOSED that day in preparation for another fabulous school year, we will plan to see each of you that afternoon at 4 p.m. for a sneak peek at your child’s new classroom and teachers for our Fall 2019 session. More information to come!
As we start the summer, we want to thank each of you for all of your support throughout this past school year. As we cele-brated another APK graduating class last week, we were re-minded that time does go by so incredibly fast and we are so blessed to have this time with your children each day. If you are spending the summer elsewhere before returning to us in the fall, we hope you have a wonderful time with family!

Hi Parents—
Happy summer everyone! We are very excited about this month’s
curriculum. Our main theme will be about you guys—Mommies and
Daddies! We will be printing out pictures for the babies to look at,
using flour and water for sensory activities, and have plenty of dramatic possibilities for our prop box. We are looking forward to
a summer of fun.
-Ms. Teva and Mrs. Jackie
Room 2
We are getting ready to transition from our May curriculum
and are excited to be welcoming some new friends. We will continue to implement sensory activities, and follow June’s
curriculum as shown on our bulletin board. We will continue to
use a “peer learning environment” where the babies continue
to grow and develop by learning from each other. We will close up our May curriculum this week and our summer crafts
will get started next week.
-Mrs. Brandee, Ms. Lydia, and Ms. Shelly
ROOM 3
Summer Fun is finally here! This
month our theme is “Mommy and
Daddy” and our shape will be the
square and our color will be yellow. We are excited to enjoy some sum-
mer projects. We are looking for-
ward to making a neat gift for all of
our wonderful daddies for Father’s
Day. As a reminder, if you have not done so already, please bring in
some sunscreen so that we can ap-
ply it to your child before our out-
door time each day!
Have a wonderful start to the sum-
mer.

Congratulations…
Please join us in offering a huge kudos to Ms. Sarah for being our
Teacher of the Month for June! We are so excited to recognize all of the
wonderful things that Ms. Sarah offers to her
classroom each day. Whether she is using her creative voices to bring stories to life or sing-
ing fun songs, Ms. Sarah brings a silly side to her classroom, in a way that all toddlers can
enjoy! We are thankful for Sarah’s willingness to help out in all classrooms when needed and
her team player spirit. Please join us in con-gratulating her on a job well done!
