Did We See a Flashlight?

There is an abandoned hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas.

It has been said to be haunted by all sorts of ghosts.

One night a group of friends and I decided to go explore the Baker Hotel.

Once we got through the fence and found a way into the hotel we came upon the lobby

area.

It was so open and gave you a chill just standing there.

It was dark every hallway and room was dark.

We had a couple of flashlights but not enough for everyone.

We didn’t think it would be that dark.

There were a total of six of us.

We split into groups of three because a group of six got to be pretty crowded.

As I was walking down the hall I could have sworn I saw a light coming from a room at

the end of the hall.

My other two friends did not see it and thought I was trying to scare them.

Is That a Flashlight?

As we got closer to the room with my other friends started to see the light and started to

freak out a little bit.

I told them lets go and check it out.

We look into the room and see a flashlight just sitting there on the floor that was really dim like the batteries in it were about to die.

I figured someone else was here before us and just dropped the light when they left,

but my friends were starting to get paranoid.

They came up with stories about how a ghost took them away and all that was left

was their flashlight.

After a little while longer of exploring we left.

The only weird thing we found was that flashlight.

I still do not know how that flashlight got there, but there must be some story behind

it that I will never know.

A Ghost Attached To the Flashlight

I decided to leave the flashlight there in the room.

I may not be too afraid of facing a ghost or anything jumping out at me, but I am a little

superstitious.

My thinking is that if I took the flashlight with me something would have followed me

back home from the hotel.

Superstitious About a Flashlight

It might seem kind of weird to be superstitious, but a lot of people are wary about ghosts and other unknown things.

We may never know if there was something really attached to that flashlight or not, but I

am glad I did not find out.
