What I did
Researched competitor’s recruiting methods for high school internships
Ran focus groups for Portland, Detroit, Seattle, and Austin Recruited from OSCON Screened multiple applicants for open requisitions Completed full cycle recruitment- My first software engineer 1 hire! Conducted walk-throughs with prospective candidates
Believe it or not, David Barwick is my Role ModelReal Talk
• Candidate experience• Recruiting is psychology/communication • Respect yourself- learn to be good counselors,
not servers.
Best way to identify diverse talent is through strong brand presence and knowledge of peer’s internship experiences.

Great people who not only helped me plan and fund the events, but were my go-to advisors for overall support throughout my internship :
My pokemon group: Igglybuff (Justin Shuck) and Jigglypuff (MZ3) for being my “assistants” and giving me the confidence to lead.
