OME installed The managed devices configured to send alerts (usually SNMP ) to the OME console A SMTP Gateway address is configured in OME

Prerequisites How To Set SMTP gateway in OMESelect “Preference" tab

Prerequisites Example How To Set iDRAC SNMP Properties

Set SNMP“communityString” & trapDestination

Enable SNMP alerts& enable all SNMPTraps

Set Up Email Template

Default Email Template Add the “To” & “From” Email Addresses

Tip : Both the “subject” & “message” can be edited to included phone numbersnext steps etc .All parameters eg “$x” can be added / moved in text
