USING THE TRIBUTE ESSENTIAL K
FEEDING CHARTS
Feeding recommendations in the charts that follow should be viewed as MINIMUMS.
If desired, 0.5 to 1.0 additional pounds of ESSENTIAL K, ESSENTIAL K GC or ALFA ESSENTIALS may be fed per day, especially for faster growing young horses or heavy-producing lactating mares.
If additional calories are needed to maintain desired body condition, add TRIBUTE K FINISH, COOL OMEGA 40, COOL CALORIES 100 or TRIBUTE KALM N EZ to the recommended amount of ESSENTIAL K, ESSENTIAL K GC or ALFA ESSENTIALS.
USING THE TRIBUTE “FULL FEEDS”
FEEDING CHARTS
•Feeding recommendations in the charts that follow should be viewed as TARGET amounts.
•Feeding slightly less, 0.5 to 1.0 pounds, of these products per day should not compromise performance.
•Feeding higher amounts is acceptable, especially for faster growing young horses or heavy producing lactating mares. Feed amounts required to maintain desired body condition.
•If feeding amounts higher than 10 pounds/day, it is recommended to offer 3 or more feedings per day, not exceeding 5 pounds per feeding.
•If additional bloom is desired, add TRIBUTE K FINISH™, COOL OMEGA 40 or COOL CALORIES 100 as recommended.
USING THE TRIBUTE “FULL FEEDS”
FEEDING CHARTS
If the recommended amount of Tribute Growth or Alfa Growth™ cannot be fed without the horse gaining weight, for every 3 pound reduction in Tribute Growth or Alfa Growth, add 1 pound of Tribute Essential K™, Essential K GC™ or Alfa Essentials™.
If the recommended amount of Tribute Performance product cannot be fed without the horse gaining weight, for every 4 pound reduction in Tribute Performance product, add 1 pound of Tribute Essential K™ or Essential K GC™.
