DALE CHIHULY

Born September 20, 1941

1976: head-on car accident. His face was severely cut by glass and he was blinded in his left eye.

1979: Dislocated his right shoulder in a bodysurfing accident. No longer able to hold the glass blowing pipe, he hired others to do the work.

PROCESS

Yarn/string bowls1. You need a mold to form your “bowl”2. Cover with plastic wrap3. Mix water & glue4. Cover yarn with glue mix5. Arrange yarn over bowl6. Let dry
