Fecal Sludge Management in Khulna City

•A part of fecal sludge is being collected anddisposed by the KCC while the rest is managed byinformal professionals.

• Fecal sludge is deposited in MSW disposal site, butmajor parts are disposed to the nearby drains or intomud holes.

•In Khulna city KWASA was established in 2008, butits activities is limited to water supply only.
