Synopsis

Mr. Wong is a high caliber architect with over 20 years of experience supervising the façade design and construction of award winning projects for esteemed architectural �rms e.g. Ronald Lu & Partners Ltd. and Wong Tung & Partners Ltd. etc.

The Curtain Wall Design 101 is a compact foundational course with the following content:

- Short introduction to the �rst curtain wall building: Lever House by SOM- Principle of load bearing and non-load bearing exterior wall- Stick building and unitized system- Advantage and disadvantage of each system- Visual mock up and performance mock up- Relevant HK and PRC building codes and regulations on Curtain Wall Design

We hope this course would encourage young architects to develop their technical and management skills in façade design and construction, and welcome practicing members to share with us their valuable experience.
