TRANSCRIPT

From attempting various fonts I realised that none of them had the specific detail I wanted. Therefore, I decided to create my own font that would have the elements I wanted. I found the ‘Urban

Jungle’ font most appealing for my genre so I will firstly use this as a basic template for me to edit it to make it my own.

So to start, I made the entire font black removing the broken pieces inside as seen before.

Next I had to add the the blood splatter effect so I found a royalty free Pre-Keyed Blood Splatter effects online which would

create this blood splatter.

I then had to add this onto the font, to do this I simply had the blood splatter layered on top of the font. I then highlighted the font and

simply deleted the unnecessary blood splatter that wasn't touching the font.

This is what the blood splatter looked like after adding it onto the font.

I then done the same technique with the blood splatter to all the other letters to gain this outcome.

After, I realised that the blood splatter wasn't as visible as I wanted it to be, so I changed the colour balance by increasing the colour levels

for red much higher to make it standout more.

I went on to add this metal textured look behind the blood splatter because I felt that the black was too basic.

I added this by layering just under the blood splatter so it will be visual under it. I then highlighted the font and simply deleted the

texture outside of the font.

This is the final completed film Title.
