N BEFORE TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS IN CRAVEN COUNTY BEGINShuttles run between the two early college campuses both AM andPM; students must be dropped off and picked up at either earlycollege campus.
WHEN TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS IN CRAVEN COUNTY ARE IN SESSION Students are picked up at home, transported to the traditional highschool, and then shuttled to the closest early college. Shuttles thentransport between the early college campuses. In the afternoon,students are shuttled between early college campuses, thentransported home from the closest early college campus.
On Friday afternoons, a shuttle runs from ECE to CEC. There is no bus-to-home transportation for students on Friday afternoons
STUDENTS CAN CONTINUE TOAPPLY FOR FREE AND
REDUCED MEALS
Breakfast and lunch are provided by area schools. At CEC, after students’ freshman year, students may eatlunch in the Student Center at CCC (and may opt topurchase food from the Craven Cafe located there). At ECE, there are occasional food trucks available forstudents to purchase lunch from on the college campus.

Craven County Schools is committed to the safety of ourentire school community. We work every day to providea safe environment for all students, staff, and visitors. Principals, teachers, and support staff are trained to
respond to emergencies (CPR, epipen, diabetes).
All schools practice emergency drills for fire, lockdown,and tornados. We work very closely with the police,fire, and sheriff departments to gather information to
prevent and plan for emergencies.
SAFETY PROCEDURES Both campuses have aCraven County Sheriff
Deputy on staff during all school hours.
A school nurse is available
for both campuses.
