Consider an ELECTIVE from your Career Cluster

Your course selection sheet is listed alphabetically by cluster. Possible electives are listed under that cluster. For example, if your cluster is in Business, maybe you want to consider Intro to Business. Or if your cluster is in Communication, what about looking at Journalism or Yearbook?

Now - Find your cluster on the sheet. Do you want to choose one of these classes as one of your electives?

● Each semester class earns a half credit for an Academic Class (.5 credit) as long as you pass the class

● PE & Driver’s Ed earn .25 credit with passing grades (Driver’s Ed is no longer a graduation requirement)

● Failing a class earns 0 credit. It does mean you have to attend summer school and make up the failing grade

● GPA is an average of all of your courses A=4.0, B=3.0
