Creating the cover page

First the selected image was cut out using the polygonal lasso tool from the white background

On a new page of 8X10 the cut out was inserted

A background from a royalty free website is downloaded and inserted

The masthead is inserted it states screams as its title

Other details such as the plug the issue date, price skyline and selling line are added

Finally all the cover story, the side stories, the band’s name and the barcode is added to the cover page to get to its final look

Creating the contents page

On a new page images are added vertically down the right side

Red color is added to the background

The title stating contents is added and the image is also inserted

All the final contents are added and the construction is completed

Creating the double fold spread page

On a black background a white line is made around the corners

Using the smudge tool the white line is distorted

Liquefy filter is applied to distort it even more and using effects the border

is turned black

The title (life of a metalhead) is added and the image is inserted

The article is added and the quote is inserted and the page is completed
