headphones, or other parts without checking with the teacher

• Teacher asks a question, with a short answer (1 or 2 words);

• Students shout out their answer, no more than two times;

• Silence when teacher says “Shout Off”

1. Think silently about what the teacher has asked;

2. Talk about what you thought about with your partner;

3. Share with the teacher when you’re called on.

• Think of 3-5 words for your answer;• We will go around the class, one at a

time, sharing answers;• Respect others, by not talking during

their turn.

• Student then picks next person to answer, but saying their name, and throwing O-Ball to them to catch; Then they give answer.

• RULES: – They can call on someone who doesn’t

have their hand up. – Throw responsibly--wait until they are ready

to catch the ball before you throw it.
