The Third Annual intrastate BBQ Championship series will consist of five KCBS sanctioned BBQ competition events across

North Carolina including Kings Mountain (April 17-18, 2015), Lexington (April 24-25, 2015), Kannapolis (May 8-9, 2015),

and Salisbury (September 18-19, 2015), and Shelby (November 6-7, 2015). Championship BBQ teams competing in these five

events will be accumulating points to earn the honor of being called the 2015 Old North State Series Grand Champion and Re-

serve Grand Champion (1st Runner-Up) and a prize purse of $2,000 and $1,500, respectively. Additional payout includes: 3rd

overall $1,000; 4th $500; and 5th $500.
