Advisory Group

• A group of issue experts reporting directly to the NAR Leadership Team on either: – Overarching issues

• Public Advocacy Advisory Group and the Multicultural Real Estate Leadership Advisory Group

– A specific program • Leadership Academy Advisory Group, the Large

Residential Firms Advisory Group, and the Large Commercial Firms Advisory Group

Types of Committees

• Committee (full)– Evaluates existing programs– Makes recommendations for the committee and the

advisory boards in its purview for policies and programs

• Coordinating Committee– Evaluates public policy recommendations

• Trustees Committee– Responsible for raising and/or disbursing voluntary

and/or dues dollars for REALTOR Party candidates

Council• May or may not report to a full committee• Primarily performs a task. • May make policy recommendations according to its

reporting structure; however, this is not its primary purpose.
