COMENIUS CORNER IN THE ENGLISH LAB

A map with the names of the 15 countries participating in the project was displayed in the English Lab, together with Brochures and posters elaborated by students from these countries, delivered in each one of the meetings.

LOGOS COMPETITION 4X

CANARY SYMBOLS

The 4X students designed logos from the prehistoric symbols used by the natives in the Canaries. The students took three lessons to finish their work with good results!!! They also used the colours of the Canary flag: white, yellow and blue.

IN THE COMPUTER ROOM

A LEAFLET

1. The students search for information about the Canary and Spanish Traditions.

2. The images and the text are put together.

3. Final products are colourful and show students imagination and enthusiasm in work group.

PRESENTATIONS IN PPS ON CANARY TRADITIONS

First Meeting in Turkey, November 2010, was the time for our school presentation.

Second Meeting in Gran Canaria, students presentation on Winter Holidays

Third Meeting in Portugal, students prepared the Spring Holidays in Spain

Fourth Meeting in Germany, the students presented a video, a pps and a poster on Summer Holidays.

IN THE COMPUTER CLASSROOM

The two students from Bachillerato 1 who prepared the guide through Vegueta, started their work in the Computer room , following a map and finished elaborating a Brochure to get the foreign visitors to know The Old Town much better.

MORE POSTERS ON EUROPEAN COUNTRIES….

The students prepared posters for the COMENIUS WEEK - May 2011- illustrating the Royal Wedding in London. They also answered questionnaires. 4 A ESO

TASS 1 students collaboration was shown in the Posters made by them on the 15 countries which visited our school in February during The second Meeting.

THE ENTRANCE PANNEL. THE HALL

The entrance pannel has welcomed everyone who has visited our school announcing the 2nd meeting in Gran Canaria in February 2011 as well as the Comenius Week in May 2011, with a display of the Countries Flags, Photos of the meetings in Turkey and Portugal and a special space for our “Comenius Club” formed by the students who have participated in our meetings throughout 2010 and 2011.

THE COMENIUS CABINETThe cabinet was thought to display the objects given by partners from These 15 countries. NOW students stop and look and then, ask, what’s that??
