New CMS• ITS is converting all Web sites into TYPO 3

• Sites will be converted as is

• Because of the upcoming server change, they would like to have all

conversions completed before semester break

• Training is available from Deb Roberts in ITD Lab

Programs of Study

• Undergrad Admissions requested a single source for students to learn

about academic programs

• I was assigned the task of production and product is now live

• Will require continued support from department chairs for upkeep

Web site Audit

• At the beginning of fall, I completed a university-wide Web site audit.

• Created a report of pages that require attention and would like to meet

with everyone soon to review that report

• Main observation: the emergence of the Programs of Study Web sites

has created an opportunity to shift the role of the college & department

Web sites.

• Know there is not a cookie cutter template that works for everyone,

but encourage you to begin that discussion.

Action Steps

• I will E-mail the steps to get trained in the new CMS

• I will be in contact to schedule a meeting to review the audit report

• Begin conversation to review the role of the college & department Web

presence.
