User Comments:“Why is there so many buttons to set the time? “

Observations• All participants said not wearing glasses did

not affect their performance.

• Participants kept asking why the task was being asked to do.

• Only one person figured out how to set up the time efficiently.

• All participants made several errors on the second tasks .

• The two female users were able to make coffee successfully, unlike the male user who mistakenly put the water in the coffee ground’s place.

Changes• Change the moving task to something a bit

more challenging.

• Be more precise on exactly why we were doing this.

• Give the manual to the participants. (Machine was not new/could not find it)

• Make the user feel more comfortable.

• Set up a measuring scale for the tasks.

CommentsSafety:

• Make the wire retractable

• Find way to lock pot in when to utilize when moving

Function:

• Buttons are easily identified and accessible.

• The water scale is not easy to read. (numbers are transparent)

• Less button clicks to set the clock.
