PCS Incidentals Loan up to $1,000 Service Animal Loan up to $6,000 Supplemental Education Grant (SEG)

In support of Coast Guard families adopting∙ up to $1,000 grant for

home study expenses

∙ up to $6,000 loan for adoption expenses

Command Financial Management Training

Budgeting, savings & debt Available for any unit by contacting CGMA-

HQ Sponsored (paid for) by CGMA Members who need one on one counseling are

eligible for individual sessions, debt management programs, and housing counseling through CGMA’s agreement with the NFCC

The campaign helps raise awareness about the variety of programs and services available

Without an annual infusion of funds, CGMA would eventually be unable to provide assistance

How does my dollar help?

The bulk of assistance is provided through interest-free loans

As loans are paid back, funds are reissued to other Coast Guard Members in need of assistance

Grants may be given in cases when there is no realistic means to pay back a loan

Programs deliver much needed services:Education grants for school supplies and books

Reimbursements for education loan origination fees

Newborn supplies

Respite care to those in primary caretaker positions

Professional financial-management counseling

CGMA is able to operate at minimal administrative cost with only 7 employees and over 400 volunteers
