1. Turn off the breaker to the A/C.
2. Remove the access panel on the unit. It is usually attached with screws or bolts and may be sealed at the bottom with tape.
3. Once the coils are exposed, use compressed air or a brush to clean off dirt and debris.
4. Next, wipe down the unit with a damp cloth
5. Finally, replace the access panel and turn the power back on.
