Event Analysis

HSPA Dropped Events

Dropped Event 1Call was being served by SC 250(KAT761B) from the distance of approx 1Km,instead of serving KAT785A(SC-189),suspected cell KAT785A(SC-189) was down during the time of drive test & also observed that KAT761B was overshooting.

Dropped Event 2Call was being served by SC 142(KAT910B) & SC-131(KAT836B) from the distance of approx 1.10Km,instead of serving KAT1034(SC-37),Overshooting observed form KAT910B & KAT836B.Suspected cross sector between KAT1034B & KAT1034C.

Dropped Event 3Call Drop observed observed on KAT920A(SC-448),which is served from 1.5KM instead of serving KAT976A & KAT976B.Overshooting observed form KAT920A(SC-448),required downtilt on the cell.Also suspected sector swap or orientation issue between KAT1034B & KAT1034C,As observed cause of drop handover problem.

Dropped Event 4Call drop observed on KAT932A(SC-506) mainly due to lack of dominant server.

Dropped Event 5Call drop observed mainly due to lack of dominant server, drop observed on KAT944A(SC-119) which served from around 5 KM .once KAT944B & KAT944C start radiation issue will be resolved.Need to check orientation & tilt of the cell(KAT944A).

Dropped Event 6Call drop observed mainly due to lack of dominant server, drop observed on KAT740A(SC-93 With Ec/No- 18 db & RSCP -107 dBm).

Dropped Event 7Call drop observed mainly due to lack of dominant server, drop observed on KAT742A(SC-138),mainly due to null serving zone of KAT742A & KAT742C.Reorientation required only if highway or positive clutter falls on this null zone.

Dropped Event 8Call drop observed mainly due to lack of dominant server, drop observed on KAT742C(SC-140),mainly due to null serving zone . Reorientation required only if highway or positive clutter falls on this null zone.

Dropped Event 9Drop of mainly due to lack of dominant server, drop observed on KAT832B(SC-295),which is serving from approx 4 Km,overshooting observed ,required down tilt on the cell.

Dropped Event 10Drop observed mainly due to too many servers observed (pilot poluation), Reduce coverage of the following SC(s): 215 214 265 214.

Dropped Event 11Drop observed mainly due to handover issue, Observed to many detected set with good Ec/No,required handover addition for KAT752A.

Dropped Event 12Drop observed on KAT775A, mainly due to Lost DL channel, also observed that during the time of drive test KAT1127 was not radiating once this site radiating issue will be resolve.

Dropped Event 13Call drop observed on KAT975A with good RF Condition(Ec/No- -9 db & RSCP – 70),abnormal release & also suspected GPS issue during the drive test.

Dropped Event 14Drop observed mainly due to Lost DL channel, First tier neighbor addition required KAT1093(SC-236) need to add.

Dropped Event 15Drop observed mainly due to lack of dominant server,KAT943A (From approx 1.5Km)was serving instead of KAT975A(From .77 Km),Physical change like re orientation or tilt change required to make dominant server in this area.

Dropped Event 16Drop observed mainly due to overshooting observed on KAT706A which is serving from .612 Km instead of KAT957A & KAT957B which is away from .176 Km from the drop loaction,required down tilt on KAT 706A.

Dropped Event 17Drop observed on KAT722B(SC-395) mainly due to poor UL coverage, suspected hardware issue on the cell, required down tilt on KAT722B for better coverage.

UMTS CALL SETUP FAILUREEvent Analysis

Call Setup Failure 1Call Setup failure observed on KAT905A(SC-180) mainly due to low coverage(which is served from .700 Km) ,need to served KAT1005B( SC-094) suspected hilly terrain at KAT1005B or up tilt on the cell(KAT1005B( SC-094)

Call Setup Failure 2Call Setup failure observed on BAG715C( SC-119) ,which is observed on hilly terrain (1619 AMSL) while KAT1038 (SC-024) on 1337 AMSL,need to restrict the coverage area of BAG715C(SC-119)

Call Setup Failure 3Call Setup failure observed on KAT1065( SC-149) with low coverage(Ec/No -24 db & -104 RSCP) footprint & also observed cell KAT1065(SC-149) is serving from the distance of 3.5 Km,need to restrict the coverage of KAT1065(SC-149).

Call Setup Failure 4Call Setup failure observed on KAT782( SC-159) with low coverage footprint ,once the nearest site KAT1122 goes up issue will be resolved.

Call Setup Failure 5Call Setup failure observed on KAT782( SC-160) with good coverage .Abnormal release observed.
