Citrix Roaming Session

On the desktop you will see the pilot icon.• Click on the Pilot Icon (Earth)

Pilot Icon

The Network Login page will display• Username & password are required

CareLink Icon

The application box will displayshowing the CareLink icon.• Click on the CareLink icon.

A Citrix roaming session will then build leading to the CareLink Login page. (Note the Roaming Session icon on the bottom of the page )

Login to CareLink in the usual manner

The CareLink homepage will display• All CareLink applications are available through the Citrix roaming session

This slide demonstrates Soarian Patient Record(**Note it is displayed within the roaming session)

Now demonstrated are patient lab results.Access is also available to MAK - eMAR and Patient Electronic Health Record (EHR)

When moving to another computer terminal you will want to close the roaming session.• Click on the red x in the top right corner.

Click to close your roaming session

• A pop up will display asking you to confirm that you want to disconnect.• Click OK

Once the roaming session is successfully closed you will see the login page ** Note the Citrix roaming session icon has been removed from the toolbar

Occasionally after signing off you may be returned to the applications box. • Just click disconnect.

To re-start your roaming session at another location• Click on the pilot icon• Re-log in with your network login

The Login page will display• Username & password are required

Application page will again display.• Allow time for the Citrix roaming session to rebuild automaticallyCitrix roaming sessions stay active for 4 hours after last use.

** Do not click on the CareLink icon If you click on the CareLink icon during the Citrix roam session rebuild it maycause the computer to lock up.

As the Citrix roaming session is re-estabilished. It will return you to the last information viewed.

Remote Access of the Citrix Server

Why do you want to use Remote Citrix Server access?

• When using the Remote Citrix Server all applications are run remotely from the MSHA data center.

• Disabling Pop-up blockers or adding special applications i.e. Java, ActiveX, etc. are not required.

• Currently the only way to remotely view PACs and e-MAR is through the Citrix Server.

Using any computer with the internet • Go to www.msha.com• Click on MSHA portals

Portals

Click on connection steps forinitial use to download the Citrix Client. This only has to be done one time.

Click on Remote Citirix Pilot (Under Physician Logins)

Logon to Siemens • Use your user name, pin & token #

Network Login• Use the same user name and password as used in the Citirx roaming session

Select Roaming Session

Citrix application will build Connection will begin as indicated by pop-up

From the CareLink Login page• Login just as if you were on a terminal in one of the facilities

• PAC’s, EHR and all other links are remotely accessible
