Autumn graces my neighborhood with its beauty………..

In November, an unexpected visitor arrives and takes a rest in our backyard

Across the street lies an unsuspecting, but naturally suspicious doe…………….

Night falls……….a full moon casts it’s magical glow

The moon must have worked it’s magic….. We now have twins..

I get to babysit while Mama goes out…….

Always on alert, these little ones keep a sharp eye on me even though it’s my front lawn!

The babies start to separate and get their bearings in the neighborhood

But they still like to hang out in their favorite spot together

Out on a drive, I stop to say Hello and be careful…….winter is coming…watch out for the cars….

Winter arrives and lays its white blanket over the yard…..

Through the long, harsh winter, a friend frequently stops by to visit… I remind them to watch the roads……..

Apparently deer don’t listen to me… This was a direct hit outside my sub…… I was devastated….

Insurance took care of the damage to the car…..

I prayed for Spring to come quickly….. I wanted to see my deer

Spring came back to our neighborhood

And so did my deer.
