These days, it's easy to create all kinds of Christmas greetings - eCards, newsletters, photo cards and more-and it can easily overwhelm people at one of the busiest times

of the year. Here you have three simple examples.

Christmas cards to make :

Making your own cards is still a satisfying thing to create and even nicer for someone to receive.

• 3D angel Christmas .

• Snowflake Christmas.

• Paper bauble Christmas card.

Now, I'm going to show how to do one of them ... We're going

to do

"The 3D Angel Christmas Card”.

A little clever cutting can have an angel seemingly popping from the paper of this

handmade card. This also works well with other Christmas motifs such as a Christmas tree or

star.

You'll need:

•Plain coloured card•Patterned paper•Scalpel•Cutting board•Cardboard angel template•Scissors•Double-sided sticky sheets or double-sided tape

Let ’ s do I t !• Step one : Place t he

car dboar d t emplat e in t he cent r e of t he car d and use your scalpel t o cut ar ound t he angel, leaving t he cent r e of t he bot t om and t op int act .

• Step two: You should have t he t op cent r e of t he halo and bot t om cent r e of t he dr ess uncut - like t he image above

• Step three: Car ef ully f old t he sides of t he angel inwar ds so t hey st ick up a lit t le.

• Step four: Use your t emplat e t o cut an angel shape out of t he pat t er ned paper .

• Step f ive:Cut a st r ip of double-sided t ape and st ick it in t he cent r e of t he angel. Next , st ick t he pat t er ned angel on t he t op, slight ly bend t he sides of t he pat t er ned angel inwar ds a lit t le t oo f or a 3D ef f ect ..
