Conclusions about 2008

32 New children took part in various activities up and down the UK, 53 in total (not including the council members or Left Clip readers)

A lot of pilot activities took place throughout 2008 with

important lessons being learnt for 2009. The inclusion of more one day workshops and the launch

of the websites has added an extra dimension to children’s services being offered.

Children are having more of a say about what activities are being offered - children’s council and continuous evaluation.

CLAPA Children & Young People's Service

Final Thoughts … 2008 has been thought provoking, busy, fun and a

learning curve for CLAPA’s children’s services.

2009 will be all this and more!

“His confidence in his abilities is increased by taking part in (CLAPA) activities which rubs off in his schoolwork and social life….they give children the chance to just be themselves without the worry of people staring and asking questions” – Parent.
