ONE NATION. ONE WORLD

‘One Nation. One World’ envisions a national movement which brings India together for the common good.

This fits perfectly into the mould of ‘Fun’ and ‘Meaning’, as the community is coming together to support their city and their favourite celebrity, while helping to improve the lives of the disadvantaged.

ONE NATION. ONE WORLD.

We start with a NATION

And by 2030, the WORLD.

‘One Nation. One World’ will organize challenges thrice a year that aim to improve the environment, decrease poverty, and

increase education.

What's different?Why involve celebrities?

In fact numerous people in the community will be motivated to take

part due to their presence.

They add a great sense of excitementPromotion of our events in the

media

year:

Visit the same cities thrice a year

And expand in other cities And hence achieve sustainability

First challenge in ‘ Joy of Giving Week’

TO TARGET POVERTY!

WHAT CAN WE DO TO TARGET POVERTY?

->People living in a country like India do not have ACCESS to clean water.

How can One Nation. One World help?

One Nation. One World can…

A challenge shall be held where engineering students from all over India help in installing water pipes in the slums of

the cities we have targeted for the first year.

What do they have to do?In 24hrs install as many clean water taps as they can.In 12 hrs make and deliver a presentation explaining benefits of using clean water to as many people possible.Getting as many signatures possible stating they have understood the presentation.

Second Challenge: EnvironmentTo help PRESERVE the environment

we came up with a very SIMPLE plan.

SO WHATS THE PLAN?Answer: To PLANT more trees!

What happens during this challenge?

Teams consist of 15 people.Challenge lasts for 12 hours each for two days.During this challenge the team has to: ->plant saplings on designated road dividers and

roadsides HOW DOES THIS HELP?

->This will also help reduce noise pollution.

->Increase the release of oxygen onto the busy and polluted roads of India’s many cities.

Third Challenge: Increase literacy

WHAT ARE WE DOING?A grand talent night will be organized across selected

privileged schools.Money will be raised during the event by charging for entry, selling raffle tickets, and conducting a bake sale

Every selected school will choose 4 students to compete for each area,

making a total of 12 students :Debating: 4 studentsSinging: 4 student

Dancing: 4 studentsWHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH THE MONEY RAISED?

The money raised by the night will be invested in installing virtual classrooms for the underprivileged and

donating bicycles to girls in villages.

Stars can help us attract sponsors!

As movie stars are associated with many different brands, it

will be easier for us to get sponsorship for the different

teams.

Many Bollywood stars have been heavily involved with different

charities over the past few years. The famous actor Abhay

Deol vouches for four NGO's, Video Volunteers, Butterflies, The Climate

Project and Wildlife SOS.

Young upcoming superstar Ranbir Kapoor was part of

the NDTV Toyota Greenathon 2010 that helped raise money to

provide solar power to 160 villages across the nation.

BEING HUMAN The Foundation is a registered

charitable trust set up by Bollywood super star

Salman Khan for helping the

cause of the underprivileged

.

More examples of projects where stars have been involved before ….

People who agreed to sponsor us!

Ms. Nanda Khanwani, director of Blue Fire Jeans in Germany agreed to sponsor

our project..

FIRST STEP TO REALITY!

Recently we had the privilege to interview Mohit Lalwani (a noted singer in Bollywood)

First steps in making our project a Getting celebrities involved!

“If this were a real life scenario, would you be willing to support us as a celebrity?”

His answer:

“Of course, I’d love to be a part of this project I am known to be part of projects like this.”

REALITY!

We wanted to know if our idea is viable so we asked?

“Do you think more celebrities would want to get involved in such a project?”

His answer:

“Many celebrities are taking part in such projects now, so it will not be a problem signing celebrities on for your project.”

Another actor who is known for his charitable side is John Abraham who strongly supports NGO Habitat for Humanity India, that runs a campaign for affordable housing. We were very privileged to get in contact with an actor of his stature.

‘I’d love to be a part of the project because it is a great idea and initiative’.

He concluded saying that we would face some hardships for sure but that overall he found our project fun and meaningful

and that it should definitely be implemented.

SECOND STEP TO REALITY: GETTING CELEBRITIES ON-BOARD

In the interview with actor John Abraham , he had also mentioned that :

“…. genuine support from the political system would be a great advantage in converting your

project into reality.”SO WHAT WAS OUR THIRD STEP TO REALITY?

TO GO INTERVIEW ONE OF THE POLITICIANS IN INDIA AND ASK FOR HIS VIEW

Enters RAJEEV PRATAP RUDY the spokesperson forBharatiya Janta Party political party in India.

He agreed that it was a good idea to start on a ‘micro level’ first and then expand to more cities due to the obstacles we might face in every city in dealing especially with poverty.

He also supported our main concept, which is about the youth making a difference. He concluded that he would support our project.

HOW WILL THE GRAND PRIZE MONEY BE USED?

The Grand Prize money will help us start our project by giving us the financial freedom to

AdvertiseTravel to meet sponsors and celebrities

Set up officeSupport all other administrative expenses

that we may incur.

CONLUSIONWe aim at starting the project small by supporting the education

campaign the whole year. In 5 years we will be able to support the education, poverty, and environment campaigns for the whole year.

This project can be transported to any part of the world.

This idea of getting the community involved with allure of celebrities can be applied the world over. Hollywood actors like Angelina Jolie and Demi Moore are known for their charitable

interests. By the year 2030, we will have A-list Hollywood celebrities involved in our project, and then we will be able to keep

to our namesake; ‘One Nation. One World.’
