Winter recreation overlapping winter home ranges of three known pairs of wolverines All s females

prepared den sites F3 showed more

movement than F1 and F2

F3 showed viable reproductively

F2 showed viable reproductively, lower rate

F1 showed no viable reproductively, however den site was prepared

Mating Occurs in Summer Implantation of

embryo is stayed until early winter

Gestation period is 30 – 50 days

2-3 Kits are born in spring

Females will often not produce young if food is scarce
