Central College is a private, non-denom-inational, liberal arts college founded in 1902 to provide quality higher educa-tion to individuals seeking to develop their full intellectual potential.

Central College is an institution of higher learning dedicated to the overall develop-ment of its campus, academia, and most im-portantly students. This four-year program enables students to achieve their highest educational potentials, enhance their sense of civic duty and experience cultural emer-sion through the college’s regional, New York City location. Central College pro-vides individuals with an opportunity to explore their interests, challenge their fears and nourish their intellect. Central College, educating future leaders since 1902.

Headed by President Leon C. DeWitt, Ph.D., Central College is an institution of higher learning comprised of its main Jersey City campus and its annex campus in Bayonne, NJ. The Bayonne campus fo-cuses on after-hours degrees and offers a full-time day care adjacent to the cam-pus. Central College also offers an online network where students work with pro-fessors interactively. The online program at Central College serves as the model for similar online education programs throughout New Jersey.
