HALLOWEEN 2014COSTUME DO'S AND DON'TS

Halloween Costume Dress CodeCCHS Faculty and Administration will be enforcing the Halloween costume dress code.

Students must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the Christian values of CCHS.

No one may wear a costume or clothing that contradicts the Christian purpose of the school or implies disrespect or abuse toward any person in the school community.

NEW POLICY: Masks and costumes that cover the face and face paint that hides the identity of a student is not allowed. Students will be asked to wash their face and remove the costume if this policy is violated.

Costume Don'tsYou cannot “dress up” as a

person of color, priest or other religious, come in

"drag" or in any costume that suggests promiscuity, alcohol,

or substance abuse.

Costume Do'sInstead, dress up in something

amusing, thoughtful, creative, and most importantly, appropriate.

Costume Don’tsStudents may not wear items over their faces that conceal their identity, for example face paint, masks, etc.

eye-catching!

Costume Don’ts

Costumes that are tight in fit, short in length, or revealing are

inappropriate.

Costume Do's

Maybe, dress up as your favorite hero, pun, cartoon

character, athlete, etc.

Costume Don’tsNo weapons – plastic or

otherwise – are acceptable.

Costume Don’tsPlease NO halter-tops, spaghetti straps, tank tops, short shorts,

yoga/stretch pants, sheer material and/or backless shoes; these

costume items are not acceptable.
