The Austrian Earl of Harrach was a diplomat, statesman, viceroy of Naples and an enthusiastic art collector. He was also very passionate about music, collecting and commissioning a lot of works; he most likely even played the recorder since many Har-rach manuscripts that were discovered in recent years also include compositions for flauto dolce. The Earl of Harrach was able to collect many Souvenirs from his numerous travels - a new find of unheared music! Maurice Steger gets to the bottom of this collection and presents fantastic music from first hand. The project was released on CD by harmonia mundi in November 2016.
