Concept Map #4: Juicy Question

~ What do you see?

~ What do you think my book needs?

Intended vs. Unintended:Inviting serendipity in.

“I wanted to marry what we found in the maps with the tide pool project I crafted in first grade. Remember? I made that jelly fish with all the string tentacles? The map lines remind me those jellyfish tentacles.”

~Talia, 4th grade

“I just remembered how I used glue to draw with last year, so I grabbed some to add texture. What happened with the color was a total surprise. I guess I had what you always call a happy accident!”

~Nate, 4th grade
