A resume is your first chance to show an employer you are the best candidate.

• Resumes can be submitted for review via email to careers@nwtc.edu or dropped off in the career center (SC235)

• 1-2 week turnaround time for reviews• Individual appointments can also be made to

review resumes.

An employer will spend less than 30 seconds reviewing

your resume before deciding “yes” or “no”

Mock Interviews are a great opportunity to become familiar with interview questions

• The mock interview will consist of a 45 minute one-on-one appointment

• The interview can be a generic interview or practice for a specific position

• Obtain a registration form online or from Career Services

• Once you have filled out the registration form, you are enrolled in Wisconsin TechConnect

Use a personal email address rather than your NWTC account which deactivates after graduation.

Be sure to include the name of your program.

• You may have up to 3 references on file• Career Services maintains the file for 2 years
