THIS IS MY STORY

I WAS BORN WITH A SEVERE HEARING LOSS IN BOTH EARS

AND I WASN’T DIAGNOSED UNTIL I WAS 3 YEARS OLD

I COULDN’T SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH UNTIL MY 3RD BIRTHDAY

AND I WEAR HEARING AIDS IN BOTH EARS

IT GETS BETTER

I ALSO HAVE A SEVERE STUTTER

IT WASN’T SO EASY GROWING UP

I HAD ZERO CONFIDENCE

I WAS ALWAYS EXHAUSTED

THEN CAME MY LOWEST MOMENT IN EARLY FEBRUARY 1990

I HAD A DECISION TO MAKE

SOMETHING ELSE BIG HAPPENED IN 1990

“I LEARNED THAT COURAGE WAS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR, BUT THE TRIUMPH OVER IT.

THE BRAVE MAN IS NOT HE WHO DOES NOT FEEL AFRAID, BUT HE WHO CONQUERS THAT FEAR”.
