This Upper Intermediate stream of General English course is specifically designed for study-driven students who don’t yet meet the entry requirements for Cambridge First Certificate of English and are willing to work hard.

This closed class course with 5 weekly intakes is a MUST for anyone thinking of entering the challenging Cambridge FCE preparation course or wanting a fast-paced intensive English course.

With a strong focus on building Cambridge foundations, the course has an emphasis on grammatical structures and exam-based writing tasks including reviews and essays.

Our experienced and highly qualified teachers will make sure that phrasal verbs, collocations and common everyday expressions used by native English speakers are no longer foreign.

Students will be introduced to conversation strategies which will enable them to speak with confidence about a range of exam-based topics.

Real-life listening and reading exercises from radio programs to magazine interviews will build general, and exam skills.

Progress assessment is ongoing and includes weekly progress tests, regular review tests and a range of assignments and homework exercises.

*Priority entry to this course given to future FCE students.
