INTRODUCTION
This profession has existed since 1958, which started
in Pusat Kusta of Sungai Buloh, Malaysia. Now, in the
late 20th century, this profession has gained.
Occupational Therapy gives a lot of services in
private and government rehabilitation centers, private
and government hospitals and also services in the
community.
Therefore, brainstorming, sharing practical
information and knowledge should be established.
This faction of the profession, as well as those from
related professions, need more clearly identify the
respective roles and benefits together in order to
achieve the vision and mission
Thus, Occupational Therapy Students' Association
(PPPCK) is pleased to organize "Occupational
Therapy Students Congress" as an initiative to
expand the network among occupational therapists
worldwide with related professional fields on the basis
of establishing a good relationship in order to improve
the quality and service in Malaysia. Besides,
throughout the fourth time; this congress will also
provide an opportunity for students and other
professionals to share their knowledge to find a
common ground in an effort to work together to
provide an excellent service in this field.
Indeed, the organization of this congress is a relevant
and sufficient ground for students who have an
attitude of tolerance and competitiveness with one
other. Finally, PPPCK expects that this congress will
receive support from the Ministry of Higher Education
and the Ministry of Health.
Occupational Therapy is a field that is currently growing along with the branches of other health sciences.
Through the rapid development of science, Occupational Therapy is also one of the growing fields to
meet the global public health demands.
Key note address (3 slots) with 60 minutes in length for every slot.
Plenary speech (5 slots) with 60 minutes in length for every slot.
Workshop presentation (8 workshops) with 3 hours in length for
each workshop.
OBJECTIVES THEME
Among the objectives of this program are: -
3.1 To create a space for sharing ideas and
exchange opinions regarding Occupational
Therapy and other related professions across
different countries.
3.2 To expand the knowledge of the research
and findings in the field of Occupational Therapy
and other professions.
3.3 To coordinate partnerships for the
development of technology and information of
Occupational Therapy in particular and
occupational health services, in general.
3.4 To influence and promote a shift of paradigm
in Occupational Therapy profession at the global
level.
3.5 To create a research culture among
professionals and Occupational Therapy student
3.6 To increase the number of publishing journal
in order to achieve the objectives of the
university at the "Research University ".
3.7 To produce balanced students in both
academic and co-curricular activities.
The pathway of 4th MAP OTSCORE starting from
the first congress held at the national level
successfully in 2011. It aims to provide a space and
opportunity for students to express through the
presentation of research papers and panel
discussion. In addition, the congress is also seen as
a platform to bridge the gap between old and new
generations in this field to better prepare them and
meet current health demands. Favorable responses
at an early stage led MAP OTSCORE to be held
again at a higher level, and namely Asia Pacific with
representing occupational therapists, professors,
lecturers as well as freshmen and sophomores from
countries around Asia.
This time, the 4th MAP OTSCORE is back to reach
other professions to get to know more about
Occupational Therapy clearly. So that, cooperation
from other profession will help in improving the
Quality in the field of health services can be further
strengthened. Interestingly, 4th MAP OTSCORE will
comprise students not only from the health sciences
but also in other fields together to play a role in
helping patients to reach the maximum
independence in daily living skills with the
occupational therapist goals themed "A New Breath
towards Globalization Knowledge of Practice;
Achieving Success in Everyday Life”.
This 4th MAPOTSCORE will open the eyes and
minds of the younger generations about the points of
similarity between the different professions and will
build up a paradigm shift in the world of rehabilitation
in Malaysia in the future.
The 4th MAPOTSCORE is seeking speaker proposal to fill:
”A NEW BREATH TOWARDS GLOBALIZATION KNOWLDEGE OF PRACTICE;
ACHIEVING SUCCESS IN EVERYDAY LIFE”
CONGRESS FORMAT
This congress will be filled with programs and enlivened with competitions between universities to foster healthy competition among participants of the congress.

Competitions between universities
Video Recording on Case Experiments
In addition, an ongoing experiment will be conducted using patients’ aims to describe the real MAPOTSCORE this time. All assessments, treatments, modifications will be given during this experiment regulated by lecturers experienced from every profession involved. Documentation will be video recorded and screened during the congress.
