“Bully Free Zone”

Fridley Public Schools is required by MN State Statue to teach school bus safety to our students annually . Kindergarten-3rd grade students are required to be taught twice a year.

Fridley Public Schools uses the” School Bus Safety Poster Contest “ as a fun opportunity to review the importance of bus safety and the bus safety rules .

Our Fridley winners are forwarded onto the MN State competition .(MN State Patrol sponsors a MN Twins Baseball Game to the 1st,2nd and 3rd place in each grade. ( Fridley had 3 of these winners this year)

Division winners of the State competition are forwarded onto the National contest in October. ( Fridley had a Division #2 winner ( grade 3rd-5th)

The winning posters are promoted during the National School Bus Safety Week the following year.
