• People’s differences are not respected• Culture of ‘us ‘ and ‘them’• Stereotypes and specific ‘names’ are used• A deliberate plan to shame and discriminate• Lies are spread to dishonour a group and to
entice others to hate and discriminate• Hate turns to violence which the perpetrators
see as ‘justified’

RESPECT
Respect has to be worked at
