Museum of The Moving Image’s new identity reflects its vision and underlines its commitment to artistic quality

as well as its cultural engage-ment. The word mark’s edgy play of letters positions the museum as challenging and

contemporary. It also offers inspiration for future, and the spirit of the museum’s architecture.

Typography

Museum of the Moving Image uses Futura as an official typeface. It is modern geometric typeface but still has long history.

Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed in 1927 by Paul Renner. Futura has an appearance of efficiency and forwardness. The typeface is derived from simple geo-metric forms and is based on strokes

of near-even weight, which are low in contrast. This is most visible in the almost perfectly round stroke of the o, which is nonetheless slightly avoid.

Stationery Letterhead

Museum of the Moving Image creates a business card, envelope and letterhead with the logo. The letterhead has a secondary graphics which are main color bars.

The business card design based on focusing on logo shape itself. By making logo in solid black color and full size in length, it gives no-ticeable and memorable aspects.

Poster Design

The concept for poster is ‘Encounter with black and white movie in daily life’Posters were made to adver-tise the Museum’s distinct aspect concerning place where can meet the old movies. The posters are orga-nized with three series.

Poster Design

The concept for poster is ‘Encounter with black and white movie in daily life’Posters were made to adver-tise the Museum’s distinct aspect concerning place where can meet the old movies. The posters are organized with three series.

Size 40”x28”The series of posters were placed in the public subway station and bus stop.

The banners were designed for announcing events of the museum and people’s eye catching. These banners are hanging on the street around the museum building.

Entry Tickets for Museum of the Moving Image were designed sim-ply connected to brand image. It is made 3 different colors The center
