Why do we need peace?

“I have told you these things,

so that in me you may have peace.

In this world you will have trouble.

But take heart! I have overcome

the world.”John 16:33

Jesus Christ brought peace by paying for the sin that separated man and God. He also made peace between Israel and the Gentiles by destroying the barrier between them.

He came and preached peace to you who were far away and

peace to those who were near. Ephesians 2:17

Bible Lesson: Peace

How did we receive this peace?

Therefore, since we have been

justified through faith,

we have peace with God

through our Lord Jesus Christ.Romans 5:1

Bible Lesson: Peace

Let the peace of Christ rule in

your hearts, since as members

of one body you were called to

peace. And be thankful.
