Miami,Fla.–January31,2017–Morethan200peoplejoinedJonJay,ChicagoCubsoutfielder,playerontheSt.LouisCardinalsWorldChampionshipteam,MiaminativeandBoys&GirlsClubsofMiami-Dadealumnus,forthe6thannualJonJayFMSbondsCelebrityBowlingChallengeatSplitsvilleLanesinMiamionSaturday,Jan.14.Nearly$60,000wasraisedthatnightforBoys&GirlsClubsofMiami-Dade’sProjectLearnAfter-SchoolProgramthatservesClubmembersingradesK–8whereJayspentmanyafternoonsgrowingup.JaybowledalongwithotherMajorLeagueBaseballstarsandlocalcelebrities,includingMattKempwiththeAtlantaBraves,JDMartinezwiththeDetroitTigers,DannyValenciaandYonderAlonsowiththeOaklandAs,GioGonzalezwiththeWashingtonNationals,andMannyMachadowiththeBaltimoreOriolesduringthefun-filledfundraisingeventthatincludedredcarpetarrivals,cocktails,horsd’oeuvres,andexcitingbowlingmatches.
