Egyptian Builders

The builders were Egyptians who lived in villages developed and over seen by the pharaoh’s supervisors.

Some of the builders were permanent employees of the pharaoh.

An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 workers built the pyramids at Giza over 80 years.

Pyramid Symbolism Egyptians believed pyramid beginning of

how the earth was created. It was also believed it represented to be

desending rays of the sun. Egyptians published the pyramid for a

brilliant appearance : used limestone.

About the Pyramids!

The Red Pyramid was boasted a single burial chamber that was accessed through two smaller chambers.

Khufu, son of Shefru and second ruler of the forth dynasty moved the royal necropolis to Giza, north of modern-day Cairo.

Great Pyramids

The Great Pyramid of Giza, also is called Khufu’s Pyramid or the Pyramid of Khufu.

There are 110 pyramids were currently known in Egypt.

The Great Pyramid belonged to King Khufu, son of Shefru.
