What is AYPA?

It is the only youth association in the Myanmar Anglican Church.

It represents the young people of the whole country

It is one of the four pillars of the church. (Sunday school, AYPA, Man association, Mother Union)

Main Purposes

To become a committed Christian

To become a good citizen of the country

The five objects of AYPA

Worship

Study

Service

Witness

Fellowship

Membership

Must be a baptized member of the church

Not younger than 14 nor older than 35 years of age.

Must accept the constitution of AYPA and practice than faithfully.

Structure of AYPA

There must be a branch and an executive committee in every Anglican parish

Every diocese have their own diocesan central executive committee.

Full time workers are appointed by the respective Bishops and Archbishop.

The EC members are elected at the Annual General Meeting once every two years.

Work camp (every two years a time)

Monsoon Training (special training for who pass the High school exam)

A.Y.P.A day (October 23rd)

Rural youth Program

It gather whole part of Anglican youth together from different place to share experiences.

It brings the unity and strength of Young people of the church.
