One project sold out, another coming soon!Tridev Corporation is proud to announce that its village-style townhouse development in Dieppe is completely sold out and that a
similar project will now be undertaken at its Jonathan Park site in Moncton-North. The photo below was recently taken with the mayor of Dieppe in front of the last unit constructed in order to commemorate the successful conclusion of this development.
Award winning development for Jonathan Park:Site work is underway for a new village-style project in Moncton-North where the project will be part of Tridev’s Jonathan Park development. Many of the site and building features which have made the Dieppe project a commercial success will be included. These same features have also resulted in a number of awards from environmental and community planning organisations.By design, Jonathan Park is a unique residential development. When completed, almost 100 acres of green area and trails will surround the entire site. This will be possible due to the fact that Tridev has dedicated large areas of green space for conservation in addition to the adjacent city-owned greenspace. Plans are also in place to incorporate walking trails within the development as soon as possible, thereby offering residents an excellent opportunity to be active and to enjoy the natural surroundings.
As one of the components of the overall development, The Village at Jonathan Park will feature many unique characteristics which will help define it as a sustainable community with conservation design features. Tridev will ensure that whenever possible, trees and natural areas are left undisturbed in order to offer every home a forested back yard. The site is also laid out in a manner whereby no homes are back to back and that one-way streets reduce the amount of hard surfaces which generate storm water runoff.As for the townhouses, they are constructed, insulated and even oriented in such a way as to be very energy efficient. In fact, Tridev will be making these homes “solar ready” and is also considering the use of geothermal renewable energy for the heating and cooling of each townhouse. Tridev is looking forward to this new project very much and hopes that the second generation of this concept will be as well received as the first.
