Cheating is rampant in card games

Professional casinos often hire two guards per dealer

Shuffling and dealing introduce the largest possibility of cheating– Stacking the deck– Bottom-dealing

Project Description

Automatic shuffling and dealing of a standard 52-card deck

Deal for several different game types Rotates to a player’s position and deals

cards

Project Description Three distinct components:

– Shuffler/Rotating Base– Card dealer/ejector– User Interface/System Controller

Size: ~8” wide x 5” deep x 12” tall Weight: Between 2 and 3 lbs.

Needn’t rotate 360°, so tangled wires not an issue 160° arc allows for 8 players evenly spaced 3 steps of the

motor apart Only deal to those positions and only if UI control is

activated

with flexible flipper to feed cards

Cards are fed to an accelerator (two vertically stacked wheels)

Accelerator “shoots” cards

Accelerator may spin freely (DC motor)
