Attention, Parents of CDS Latin Students!

Your child is invited to the 2020 NC Junior Classical League Convention

@ Wake Forest University, NC April 4 (Saturday)

8th Graders—All 8th grade Latin students are required to go on Saturday. They are not

required to attend Friday. Please excuse your child personally to me (not by phone or email) if he/she is unable to attend.

Cost: Free Students will need money to purchase lunch, however.

Returned Signed Forms: Friday, March 6 Sign and return all five (5) of the attached forms to Mr. Fellers or MS Office by this date!

Schedule of Events: The events starts at 9am, so we’ll need an early start. The Graphic Arts competition, workshops, “Olympika” (chariot race and other fun races), Certamen (team trivia competition), and most other events take place on Saturday. The opening ceremony, skits, costume contest, and a few other events take place Friday night. If your child desires to attend also on Friday, contact me by email. FINALLY, . . . We rely on carpooling and are in need of chaperones and drivers. It will be a fun time seeing the students both participating in and enjoying the JCL events and competitions. If you are willing to drive and be a chaperone, please email me. Carpooling is encouraged. Please speak with me immediately if your child needs a ride. Finally, complete and return the attached forms to me by this Friday! Blessings,
