From September 2015 National Curriculum levels are no longer used for statutory assessments.

Schools are given the responsibility to develop their own approaches to in-school assessment.

AMAP:Mastery• Steps 1-3 describe a Foundation performance. This would be the lowest level of attainment

• Steps 4-5 describe a Developing performance

• Steps 6-7 describe a Secure performance
