FOREWORD

This is the first ever collection of the work of passion from the modern

barbers of Asia. My intention of putting this together is to pay tribute to

the brilliant works that the barbers have created. Like the story of the

modern barbers which started from a humble beginning, this too has a

noble and humble beginning, where I hope that this would serve as a

means to inspire and introduce the hairstyles that has shaped the

modern barber culture.

The objective of putting up this collection is two pronged; one where we

intend to ensure that the works of the modern barbers are recognized by

means of circulation on the internet and two, where viewers of this

collection are able to gain ideas and inspiration for new haircuts.

This collection consists of photographs taken by barbers all around

through their social media accounts. The photos are only published upon

consent given by the owners of the photos. As long as there is a demand

to continue to produce the collection, I will continuously source and

produce this for the benefit of all.
