New Designs
The intricacies of each design require very different
techniques to breathe new life into antique textiles;
their origins range from 18th century French cotton quilts
to 19th century kalamkari prayer mats printed in India
for the Persian market. Soane has worked with five specialist
workshops, all in England, to develop the new prints,
weaves and wallpapers in this collection.
